Company History
The company started as a sole proprietorship in 1970 and under the name Växjö Vattenrening In 1983 we became a limited company and the name was changed to Göingefiltret AB.
We took our current name – Aqua Expert AB – in 1989 at the same time as we moved into our current premises. The name Göingefiltret is retained as a product name that lives on today. In 1997, we started the in-house manufacture of stainless steel filters and pressure vessels, through Aqua Rostfritt AB. The parent company Aqua Expert AB and the subsidiary Aqua Rostfritt AB merged in 2001, and now Aqua Expert AB also handles the manufacture of the filter vessels.
In the autumn of 2003, a generational change took place when the founder Bertil Höjer stood down and handed over the business to two of his sons, Patric Bolmgren and Martin Höjer.
One of them, Martin Höjer, has been the sole owner since 2013 and was also CEO until 2019. When he decided to concentrate on the product development of new innovations based on clarity of vision, Rolf Mastenstrand took over the role of CEO. In 2016, the sister company FINECO AB started, for surface treatment of stainless products.
