Functional description
The water flows into the filter via a pressure tank or membrane pressure tank and passes through the filter medium consisting of lime (half-burnt dolomite).
In the filter medium, the corrosive carbonic acid is neutralised and the pH value rises. The pH value is regulated to the desired value using the filter’s integrated mixing valve.
Backwashing via the automation or manual valves ensures that the filter medium is agitated, preventing it from solidifying.
