Functional description
The water passes through a pulsed water meter that signals the diaphragm pump to dose.
At each pump stroke, the alkaline fluid Alter+, consisting of sodium carbonate and caustic soda (2%), is added. The saturated solution raises the pH, at the same time as binding the corrosive carbonic acid (CO2), without increasing water hardness.
The water and fluid are effectively mixed by turbulence via the static mixer and a very even pH value is obtained.
Alter+ has limited solubility and therefore cannot push the pH above its limit value. This makes it very consumerfriendly.
