Functional description
UV filters use the electromagnetic energy of light to protect the water against harmful substances such as bacteria, viruses, mould and microorganisms.
The UV lamp eliminates 99.99% of harmful microorganisms without the addition of chemicals or changing the taste or smell of the water. The UV lamp is eventually used up and replaced after 8,000–9,000 operating hours – approx. 1 year of use.
