Functional description
When water passes through the air injector, oxygen-rich air is drawn in which, in combination with catalytically oxidizing filter media, precipitates iron and manganese as solid particles, which are then filtered out. The upper layer of the filter bed neutralizes carbonic acid (CO2) and raises the pH value.
When the filter bed becomes saturated, it is backwashed in the opposite direction. With the help of air introduced by the air injector, only a limited amount of water is required to meet applicable discharge standards. After backwashing is completed, the system switches to filtration mode using the automation system.
Esker WiFi has automated functions and real-time monitoring. The WiFi connection allows you to control the system and receive alarms via eskerwater.se or your connected device, wherever you are.
For added peace of mind, Esker WiFi can be supplemented with service agreements and alarm systems adapted to the installation.
