Technical data
Max. pressure/PN: 4 bar
Pump starts per hour: max 40 starts
Operating temperature: max 40 °C
Electrical connection for automation: 230 V
Product options
- Radox HF – radon aerator
- Radox HZ – radon aerator with frequency control
distribution pump. You thus avoid having to
install a pressure tank after the radon aerator.
Functional description
When water containing radon enters the oxidation chamber, the water is heavily oxygenated by means of the air injector. A very high contact surface between air/water which ensures that radon progeny drift over to the surrounding air.
Because the air injector creates an overpressure in the radon separator, the radon-contaminated air is led outdoors via a ventilation duct without a ventilation fan.
The oxygenation of the water is so great that it also leads to the oxidation of hard-to-precipitate gases such as methane and lighter gases such as hydrogen sulphide. The carbonic acid is also neutralised and converted into a carbonate that raises the pH of the water.
Radox HZ is equipped with frequency control for the distribution pump, which means that no hydrophore is necessary. Radox HF requires hydrophore after installation.
